When i have worked with a photo, how do I save it without changing the original photo?
That is, keep the original as it is?

Hi Bjørn,
Just right click on the image(s), select "Export (Save As)" and then =select
the "Export Original" check box at the top of the "Export Object As..."
dialog.

I tried it, but it didn't go as i planed. I worked with a photo, used "Export As" and "export original"
But when I open the program, the changed photo was in the album.
I read that this program keep the original photos, and you work only on copies. Isn't that right, and is it something else I must do.
Example I change the size of the photo. Next time i open the program and album, I want the "old" size. how do I do that?

>>But when I open the program, the changed photo was in the album.<<
When you use the export feature you specify an "external" location to export
the image. So, if you inspect the location where you exported the image you
will see that it is in the original format.
>>I read that this program keep the original photos, and you work only on
copies. Isn't that right<<
That is right - we keep one copy of the original in our folder structure and
never modify the original. All of the changes are kept in our database
structure and can easily be removed/modified without altering the original.
Only when you desire to export the image do all the modifications get
written to the exported image.
>>Example I change the size of the photo. Next time i open the program and

Once again, the original image is still intact within StudioLine and you
always work against that original. The only exception is that if you used
the "resize original" feature in StudioLine. If you did use that feature,
StudioLine prompts you to save the original or delete it.

Thanks.
so the clue was to export the original picture when I use the Export As, and put in a new album? That did work.
thanks
